Who am I?
My name is Maya, and I am a citizen of the United States of America.
2024 has been a year where the government and the judicial system in the United States have shown themselves to no longer be working in the best interest of the people.
It is time for humanity
to regain compassion for itself.
We, the entire human race, need to take a step forward together. It is time to look upon our neighbors and say that community is too important to lose. That the innate goodness of hears need to speak louder than the hate-filled cries of those with ill-intent.
Today, I ask each of you to declare dominion over your own soul and allow that unique instance of energetic essence that is you to create peace in your own life.
Let a new definition of peace ring forth.
Peace is an inner state of being reached
when one can find contentment, joy,
and meaningful connections
regardless of circumstances.
I ask that you find your unique soul purpose that brings you the deepest sense of contentment.
Find that joy which fuels your imagination and sparks the light of creativity within you.
Find those meaningful connections to others in love and in service in exactly the right manner for you.
As I look through the remainder of this year towards 2025, my plan for moving forward is quite simple.
First, I will advocate for the universal laws of equanimity to create clarity about how we will hold each other accountable. We will define our rights and our responsibilities so that it is clear to all.
Next, together we will do a thorough review of all of the national, state, and city laws of the existing government that violate the universal laws of equanimity and declare all such laws null and void. Our goal will be to create a simplified community-based restorative justice system based on truly providing help and guidance for all.
We will begin forming the community building councils to replace existing government branches to allow us to move forward and strengthen our communities in meaningful ways to restore the rights of all citizens.
Lastly, we will begin an effort to transform education into wisdom building. Each person is unique and so is what they need to know in this world.
We have much work to do. Homelessness, hunger and healthcare all need to be our highest priorities, not only as a country, but as a world.
We are wise enough to solve these problems, and we must find the compassion in our souls to help one another so that no one is left behind.
One of my favorite quotes is from Emerson that says
Do not go where the path may lead.
Go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.
Thank you in advance for helping this country begin a new trail.
let all that you do be done in love,
Maya
